Consistent with my way of doing business in my booth at
crafts fairs, all of my dealings with my customers and web site
visitors are completely confidential and under the customers'
control. This means that, should you make a purchase of any of
my pottery, only you and I - as well as your bank or credit card
company, of course - will ever know of that transaction. Although
I ask for your name and address at the point of sale, I have
never released - and I shall not ever release - my mailing list
to any third party, for any purpose. I use that mailing list
only to send out notices of when I will be at a show in or near
your home. Names are deleted from that list after three years
from the date of your last purchase, or when a post card comes
back marked as undeliverable. If you give your e-mail address
when you fill out my Guest Register, I will use that address
only to send you e-mail notices whenever new styles of my work
are added to the catalog and when the new edition of the Out
of the Fire newsletter is published. You may opt to have
your name removed from the e-mail list at any time simply by
contacting me with your request. Now, I understand that
technology is such that those who know how can trace your every
move on the Internet. I obviously cannot do anything to control
that, and I will not, therefore, be held liable for any
potential harm which might come to your computer or to you
perpetrated by any third party as a result of that third party's
interception of data you might give as you visit my site. But
you have my word that I will not use your information for any
purpose other than to contact you personally - and only then
until you tell me to stop.
